Does it work for all building widths?
MetalCut Pro supports buildings from 12' to 60' wide — Standard (up to 24'), Triple Wide (25'–30'), and Commercial (over 30'). Roof pitch is automatically calculated based on building width for precision. The app supports Regular, Box Eave, and Vertical roof styles.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation required. MetalCut Pro is 100% web-based and runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. Just log in and start calculating.
Can I use it for lean-tos and wrap-arounds?
Yes — the app fully supports lean-tos on all 4 sides and wrap-arounds on all corner combinations. Each configuration updates the cut list and hardware counts automatically.
How accurate are the screw counts?
Screw counts are calculated based on industry-standard spacing rules, panel type, and building configuration — the same logic used by experienced installers with 20+ years in the field. The calculations account for seams, overhangs, and overlaps.
What happens if our generics change?
No problem. When your engineer updates your blueprint specs — like changing from 2 screws to 3 in a specific connection — we update your configuration in the system. All future estimates automatically reflect the new spec. Your cut lists stay accurate to your current approved generics.
